Trapalanda Cultural Center

The Trapalanda Cultural Center is the first cultural space in the city that was designed for this purpose, located in the historic center and founding site of the city, forming part of the cultural heritage of Río Cuarto.

It is built with the Initiative of a group of local artists under the name of Trapalanda. The cultural center is made up of four interconnected parts.

These are:

Trapalanda theater . A small theater where a varied program of periodic cycles of different artistic genres is performed. It has a capacity of 120 seats.

ARP: Río Cuartense Association of plastics . Institution that brings together local plastics, where every month they exhibit their works, for dissemination and sale.

John Filloy personal library . A special space dedicated to the great writer, where you can find his books, furniture, personal objects.

Museum of Fine Arts . Temporary and permanent samples of national, provincial and local representative artists are exposed.

legends. From the time of the viceroyalty, where it was transmitted orally about a city, with golden doors -a portal- the Trapalanda portal, with a spring of water that meant the elixir of life, and mountains covered in gold .

This space forms another alternative where you can experience our cultural resources in Río Cuarto.
